Air Intake Methods
Bottom Intake: Relies on cabinet ventilation, easily leading to incomplete combustion (yellow flame, excessive carbon monoxide).
Top Intake: Supplies air from above the panel, but air is difficult to enter the high-temperature zone.
Side Intake (Optimal): Draws in cool air through an independent air intake, solving the problem of incomplete combustion and reducing panel temperature.
Flame Failure Protection Devices
Thermoelectric: The flame heats a thermocouple to generate current, keeping the solenoid valve open; when the flame goes out, the current disappears, automatically cutting off the gas supply (reaction time approximately 5-10 seconds).
Ionization Sensing: Detects the flame's conductivity and cuts off the gas supply instantly upon flameout (within 0.1 seconds); requires an external power source.
Energy Efficiency and Environmental Standards
Thermal Efficiency: Built-in ≥50%, countertop ≥55% (New national standard requires ≥70% by 2026).
Carbon monoxide emissions must be ≤0.05% to reduce the production of harmful gases.
