What is most feared when cooking? It is not oil splashing onto your body, nor is it that the flame in the pan is too high. It is that the cooking fumes have already risen but the range hood fails to keep it in. Smoke rises from the edge of the pan and spreads in all directions. No matter how strong the suction is, if they are not contained in time they can still escape.

And even if they are drawn in, if the exhaust pressure is insufficient and facing a complex shared flue, it may also fail to exhaust, or even cause backflow. So, a range hood that can truly solve the fume problem needs to complete a full set of actions: First contain the fumes, then draw them in, and finally force them out. These three stages are all indispensable.

In September, DE&E launched the brand-new L6 Series super static pressure range hood, built around the core performance of 1800 Pa super static pressure and 2800 m³/h extra-large suction power, paired with an all-new top-side dual suction structure, building a complete all-zone fume-removal system from fume containment and intake to exhaust.

This time, what DE&E aims to solve is not merely "is the suction power large enough", but whether every step, from the generation of cooking fumes to their exhaust, has sufficient capability.

I. 1800 Pa Super Static Pressure: Strengthening Powerful Exhaust Capability

The shared flue of a high-rise residence is not an always-open "highway". When the resistance in the flue increases, or when multiple households exhaust at the same time during peak hours, a range hood needs stronger exhaust pressure to keep pushing the fumes toward the shared flue. If the pressure is insufficient, fumes that have been drawn in may still get stuck in the flue. What is more troublesome is that when the pressure inside the shared flue changes, fume backflow may occur, letting a neighbor's fumes enter your own kitchen. So, a range hood that has strong exhaust capability must first of all has sufficient static pressure.

The DE&E L6 Series Range Hood features an innovative air duct system that achieves 1800 Pa super static pressure, meeting complex exhaust environments with powerful performance.
The MAX18 super static pressure core technology is equipped with the SP3.0 fully DC inverter motor power core, delivering intelligent inverter output of up to 2,000 rpm of powerful exhaust drive; The owl-wing bionic impeller draws on the wing structure of the eagle owl, optimizing airflow guidance and induction efficiency; The obstruction-free pressurized volute combines an unconventional Archimedes-curve air duct with a 66.6° golden centrifugal angle, reducing airflow backflow and eddy-current losses to further improve exhaust efficiency. At the same time, a scientific 22° downward tilt angle effectively enlarges the air intake and exhaust area, giving the fumes a smoother exhaust path.

The 1800 Pa super static pressure lets cooking fumes be exhausted, and also gives the range hood stronger resistance in complex flue environments. For residents of high-rise buildings, this means not only exhausting their own cooking fumes, but also minimizing the nuisance of fume backflow caused by pressure changes in the shared flue.

II. 2800 m³/h Extra-Large Suction Power: Instant, Highly Efficient Fume Intake

If static pressure solves the problem of "forcing fumes out", then suction power solves the problem of "drawing fumes in". After all, only after cooking fumes are first drawn into the range hood can the subsequent exhaust even be discussed. Especially when stir-frying over high heat, fumes are often produced in large quantities within a very short time. At such moments, the range hood needs enough air-intake capacity to capture them quickly before they spread.

The DE&E L6 Series Range Hood delivers an extra-large 2800 m³/h suction power. A high-efficiency impeller and a high-speed motor work in tandem, optimizing the airflow path to reduce air-loss and rapidly raise air volume, so the large amount of fumes produced by stir-frying can be drawn in and exhausted quickly.

As soon as smoke rises, it is drawn in quickly; when there are heavy fumes, they are drawn in promptly. The 2800 m³/h extra-large suction power keeps cooking fumes above the cooktop as much as possible and establishes an efficient inlet for the powerful exhaust that follows.

III. Top-Side Dual Suction: Efficient All-Round Fume Containment and Intake

Cooking fumes have one characteristic: they never travel in just one direction. Once smoke rises from the pan, it drifts upward and also spreads to the sides. So, the air-intake range of a range hood determines whether the fumes can be controlled before they spread. This is also why the L6 Series Range Hood adopts a brand-new top-side dual suction structure.

The L6 Series Range Hood uses a "pull and draw" dual air-intake structure, so that cooking fumes enter the controlled zone from the very moment they are produced. The top main air intake has a 430 mm wide wingspan, paired with a 115° wide-wing fume-containment opening angle, forming a larger canopy-style fume-containment zone; the bottom auxiliary air intake sits in the golden fume-control zone, closer to the source of the fumes, helping to pull them in from where they are generated and reducing their spread to the surroundings.

Thus, the L6 Series Range Hood completes a full closed loop of fume removal: first containing, then drawing in, and finally forcing out. The top-side dual suction contains the fumes, the 2800 m³/h extra-large suction power draws them in, and the 1800 Pa super static pressure forces them out. Each of the three stages plays its own role, making "fume removal" no longer just a result, but a complete system capability.

IV. All-Round Renewal: Comprehensively Improving the Kitchen Experience

Power is the core capability of a range hood; being easy to use determines whether it can truly become part of daily kitchen life. Beyond its core fume-removal capability, the L6 Series Range Hood further improves the user experience in everyday scenarios such as quiet operation, cleaning and maintenance.

(I) 64 dB Quiet Cabin

When a range hood runs at high speed, the last thing you want is for power to come with noise. The L6 Series Range Hood reduces operating noise through its quiet cabin design, keeping the kitchen as comfortable a cooking environment as possible while still exhausting powerfully.

(II) Segmented Easy-to-Remove Grease Filter

After a range hood has been used for a long time, cleaning is often more of a headache than using it. DE&E's classic segmented grease filter design makes removal and installation more convenient, and it can be placed directly in the dishwasher, taking some of the hassle out of cleaning the filters.

12

(III) 75°C High-Temperature Self-Cleaning
Long-term accumulation of grease can easily affect the internal air duct environment. Through 75°C electric heating, the L6 Series Range Hood melts internal grease at high temperature, helping to keep the air duct system clean and enabling the powerful suction to last longer.

13

(IV) Hover-Hold Smoke Guide Panel

When cleaning the inner cavity, whether the smoke guide panel can be fixed in place is often an easily overlooked small problem. The L6 Series Range Hood adopts a hover-hold opening structure: flip it open in one motion and fix it easily, making the cleaning process much more convenient.

From quiet operation to cleaning, from daily maintenance to caring for the inner cavity. These seemingly "small" functions ultimately solve the same thing: making a range hood not only powerful, but truly easy to use.

V. Upgraded Details: Blending into the Modern Light-Luxury Kitchen Space

Today's kitchen is no longer just a place for kitchen appliances and cabinets. Cabinets, countertops and appliances increasingly emphasize their overall relationship. Range hoods are certainly no exception.

The L6 Series Range Hood supports flush cabinet installation with a 350 mm slim body, giving the product a cleaner visual relationship with the cabinet; through smart hood-stove linkage, it reduces repetitive operations during cooking and makes the devices work together more naturally; paired with high-grade nano-crystal glass, its refined material texture blends into the modern kitchen, letting a functional appliance become part of the space design.

17

The very reason range hoods came into being was to deal with the cooking fumes in the kitchen. But as kitchen spaces keep changing, consumers' demands for kitchen appliances are also shifting from "usable" toward "easy to use, good-looking, and easy to fit in". From the top-side dual suction to the 2800 m³/h extra-large suction power, and then to the 1800 Pa super static pressure, the DE&E L6 Series Range Hood reconnects the complete path of cooking fumes from generation to exhaust; the 64 dB quiet cabin, 75°C high-temperature self-cleaning, easy-to-remove grease filters and the hover-hold smoke guide panel further respond to real needs in daily use; the 350 mm slim body, smart hood-stove linkage and high-grade nano-crystal glass let the product blend naturally into the modern kitchen space.

19

Behind all of this is DE&E's more than a decade of continuous exploration of super-static-pressure technology, and also a product practice as DE&E moves from high-end kitchen appliances toward the "DE&E Light Luxury Kitchen". With the "innovation" of technology, it keeps pushing the boundaries of kitchen performance; with the "enjoyment" of experience, it brings technology truly back to life; with the "extraordinary" of space, it lets kitchen appliances and kitchen cabinets merge with each other, turning the kitchen from a place for cooking into an ideal space that carries a lifestyle.

In the future, DE&E will continue to take innovation as its core, and kitchen appliances and kitchen cabinets as its foundation, steadily exploring more possibilities for kitchen spaces and lifestyles, so that every technological advance becomes a real foothold for a better life.
